Ubisoft has announced two new titles in their Assassin’s Creed universe – Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD and Assassin’s Creed Pirates.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is the high definition version of the PS Vita title, Assassin’s Creed Liberation and will be releasing as a digital only title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2014. Besides a coat of HD polish, players can expect a more refined combat system, as well as improved frame rates.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates is an entirely new 3D title being developed for “high end” smartphones and tablets that should ship before the year ends. In it, players step into the boots of Alonzo Batilla, an ambitious captain who must manage his crew, his ship, engage in naval battles, and of course plunder the crap out of stuff.
