The PC specifications to run Need For Speed Payback have been released

EA plans to launch Need For Speed Payback on the 10 of November for PC as well as consoles and today the company alongside developer Ghost Games have announced the minimum and recommended specifications for those interested in picking up the game on PC.

The Minimum configuration to run the game is as follows,

As we can see that these requirements are rather mellow but this must be tempered by the fact that if you have the above specifications, the best you can hope for is a consistent 30 frames per second (fps) @HD (1280 x720) resolution with LOW graphics presets. Those interested in higher performance might want to look at the Recommended configuration which is as follows,

With the above configuration, players can expect to run the game @60fps at full-HD (1920 x1080) resolution with HIGH graphics presets. With better hardware (probably a GTX 1070 or better GPU) players can maybe run the game at a higher resolution and/or frame-rate depending on their preference and in-game fidelity settings.

The game is running on DICE’s Frostbite engine which is being championed by EA to be used across the publisher’s various owned studios.

As noted earlier, Need For Speed Payback will be released on the 10 of November for the Windows PC, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One platform. The game features a more dramatic plotline compared to the prior launches in the franchise with a resurgence in implementing car customisation systems.
