It’s specially made for people, who don’t want to pay exorbitant prices to enjoy 3D content, and the display was revealed during the Sony E3 press conference. The 24” display supports full HD 1080p resolution and is optimized for full 3D output.
It will be available later this year and the unique feature of the display is that it outputs individual full HD screens, making it easy to play two-player gameplay modes like co-op or head-to-head without splitting the screen in two. It is the ideal 3D display for dorm rooms, family rooms and bedrooms.
Each set comes with a pair of 3D glasses (priced $69), an HDMI cable, and a copy of Resistance 3. It’s a great way to promote the game, as well as push 3D content. The entire package will be available for $499 in the US. We will update you on the Indian pricing and availability once it’s confirmed.
