Italian developer Milestone has earned a name for its self over several years for its expertise in the racing genre, primarily with the WRC and Moto GP licenses. Now, the studio is developing its first original IP – Ride.
Ride will offer over 100 motorcycles across the Superbike, Supersports, Naked and Historical categories, five of which have already been revealed – KTM 1190 RC8 R 2014, Kawasaki Z1000, Ducati 1199 Superleggera, Yamaha MT-09, and MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R.
As far as locations go, Ride will feature a mix of city and country tracks as well as historic circuits from around the world. The game will also offer “unprecedented” vehicle and rider customisation options.
We’re not quite sure which end of the sim-arcade scale Ride will fall on, but we’ll know more about it as the game nears its “Spring 2015” release.
Ride is headed to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PS3 and PS4, and will receive an official release in India.
