Sony is currently testing a revamped version of its online service, the Playstation Network, and the new design is said to pack in features like live search, an IMDB-styled database for selecting favourite movies, and a ‘deal of the day’ section to make it easier to locate bargains, Reg Hardware has reported.
The report also states that the company is planning to replace the blue theme with bright colours on a black background. Sony is said to be currently “quietly testing” the new design. The company announced during its recent shareholders’ meeting that about 90 per cent of its users had returned to the Playstation Network after the month-long outage.
