Since the Fight Night series has gone off on a bit of a sabbatical, boxing fans could get their fix from developer Vivid Games’ latest offering, Real Boxing, a brand new IP that will be available this August via the PlayStation Network (PSN) on the PS Vita.
Upon choosing (and customising) your character, you’ll embark on a blood soaked journey from the amateur league to the pro leagues through a bunch of gameplay modes. Real Boxing has been developed using the Unreal Engine 3, so besides crisp visuals, players can expect graphic representation of the sport through every bone crunching punch.
“Real Boxing is as close as you can get to the real sport without lacing up a pair of gloves and getting in the ring,” said Remi Koscielny, CEO of Vivid Games. “We’ve put everything fans love about the sport of boxing into the Vita, making it one of the most comprehensive sports titles available for the system.”
