PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole has finally brought the First Person perspective to all the game modes in the title. This was confirmed via a tweet from the game’s official account.
Players, first-person only servers are now available in ALL game modes on NA, EU and ASIA servers. Leaderboards will be added later. pic.twitter.com/us8IuDJ6PP

First-person only servers had been added to the mix in the last monthly patch but this was limited to Solo and Duo queues and missing from the Squads game mode. This was further hampered by the fact that the first person mode was limited to North America and EU servers. Now servers are being deployed world over and all in three game modes.
Leaderboards will also be implemented for this new mode in the near future.
Alongside the perspective change, the game is also getting the feature to reconnect to a disconnected game. Released earlier in the monthly patch the feature was causing server issues and Bluehole had to redact it. Now the feature was activated earlier in the day with a caveat that it is still in Beta so players might run into bugs.
The Reconnect feature is now back in the game. However, the feature is still incomplete and there might be bugs.

With the reconnect feature you can hopefully get back into the game, with your character and loot exactly as you left unless you get shot up in the absence.
Currently, though no one has reported any issues with regards to this feature although we might need to wait before checking on it again.
