PES 2018 open beta is now live

Konami has launched the first ever beta for its Pro Evolution Soccer football franchise. The PES 2018 online multiplayer beta for PS4 and Xbox One went live today and is available till July 30.

The beta can be accessed for PS4 here, and Xbox One here.

The beta offers the Quick Match and 3 vs 3 Online Co-operative Multiplayer game modes. The Brazilian and French national squads will be available in the beta, with the Neu Sonne Arena being the only venue in day, night clear and rainy climate settings.

PS4 users will not require a Playstation Plus subscription to participate, although on the Xbox One, you will require to be actively subscribed to Xbox Live Gold.

PES global product manager has Adam Bhatti stated that the aim of the beta is to test the online code of the game, and that closer to the game’s launch, there will be a proper demo for players to test out the game.

PES 2018 will release on September 12 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
