Next gen consoles are yet to get a specific release date, but Ghost Games feel that they’ll be able to make the latest entry in the Need For Speed franchise, Need for Speed: Rivals a launch title.
Lead designer James Mouat told Joystiq that the team is aiming for the title to “be out on launch” on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 19, 2013. If it releases on the next generation of consoles, it would need to compete against exclusives such as Forza 5 and DriveClub. Rivals indeed.
