Microsoft has bought the XboxEvent.com domain amidst rumours that it could unveil its next-gen Xbox console in April.

The domain was registered by U.S. Techs, which (as dug up by NeoGAF) previously booked XboxE312.com. That domain was used by Microsoft as a press registration website for its E3 2012 press conference, so this new domain purchase could be telling.
Meanwhile, several websites are reporting that Microsoft could announce the next Xbox at an event in April, just a couple of months before E3.
