Tarsier Studios, which co-developed LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation Vita, has announced its new game – Hunger (working title).
The third-person 3D action adventure game will feature stealth and exploration elements. It will follow the journey of a nine year-old girl named Six, who has been kidnapped and taken to work in The Maw, which the developers describe as “a surreal underwater resort catering to the whims of the powerful elite”.
The Swedish studio, which also developed Ragdoll Kung-Fu: Fists of Plastic for PS3 and created content for LBP and LBP 2, has just received funding of around 67,000 Euro from the Nordic Game Program, allowing it to move forward with the game’s development.
While Tarsier hasn’t announced platforms for the game yet, it seems destined for PS4 (and/or other PlayStation platforms), since the developer has entered into an exclusive first-party deal with Sony.
