Media Molecule announced their new game called Tearaway at Gamescom for the Playstation Vita.
Tearaway features a beautiful papercraft world where our objective is to help the protagonist, Iota. The game features a 3D universe where user interactions are applied in every form using Vita’s input technologies.
Tearaway makes clever use of the Vita’s rear touchpad whereby you can poke your finger through the paper or beat drums into the game’s world to help Iota. Users can also blow in through the microphone to add a strong flow of wind or a terrifying roar to ward off enemies. Apart from that, the game will also make use of the Vita’s front touchscreen and motion based tilt controls.
No release date was announced for the game.
