Valve has announced the release date for the ‘Cold Stream’ downloadable content for Left 4 Dead 2.
Cold Stream has been in the beta phase since March 2011 and would finally be released after more than a year of playtesting on July 24. The pack for PC, Mac and Xbox 360 will include a campaign as well as four maps based on the original Left 4 Dead game – Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air and Death Toll.
The release of this DLC will coincide with an update that will enable all mutations to be available at all times. According to the official Left 4 Dead blog, “This will allow players to choose to match into games playing Taank!, Gib Fest, or even a user created mutation like Confogl.”
Valve is yet to announce the price of the Cold Stream DLC.
