Killzone 2 PS3 bundle coming to India this month

Another Milestone Interactive release list is here, and as always, it doesn’t fail to throw up a few surprises. This month, the list announces a few new titles hitting platinum prices, a new publisher joining the distributor’s growing catalog, and most noteworthy – a Killzone 2 80GB PS3 bundle.

Not only is a Killzone 2 bundle a much better deal for a potential buyer than a Resistance 2 or MotorStorm: Pacific Rift bundle (because it’s a better game), but this time around, you’re getting the game free. Earlier bundles were priced at Rs 25,990, Rs 1,000 more than the standard console price. But the Killzone 2 bundle is priced at Rs 24,990. A free game or a mini price drop; call it what you want, but this is certainly a great proposition for those who’ve been waiting to pick up a PS3. The bundle should be in stores by the end of April.

There’s also several titles being added to the platinum budget range. These include Army of Two and Battlefield Bad Company for the PS3 (Rs 1,599) and SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS Fireteam Bravo 2, Syphon Filter Dark Mirror, Fired Up, and Namco Museum Battle Collection on the PSP (Rs 999).

UK-based Ignition Entertainment, recently acquired by UTV, also joins Milestone’s list of publishers and from their PS2 catalog, Fatal Fury Battle Archive Vol. 1, SNK Arcade Classic Vol. 1, The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga, Samurai Shodown Anthology (also on PSP), World Heroes Anthology and King Of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match are available now. This means we will also see King of Fighters XII releasing in India, hopefully at a reasonable price.
