According to a report by Gadgets 360, Microsoft India has stealthily updated its Xbox page with details for the launch of the Xbox One X.
Clicking on the link redirects you to a page which pegs the launch date as the 15 of January and the price as Rs 44,990. The pre-order link tells us that the console will be available online through Amazon.in and Flipkart although a number of retailers in major cities have also been listed.

This release showcases surprising alacrity from Microsoft who had previously delayed the launch of the Xbox One and One S in India by at least a year after their international launch. Considering Sony’s supply issues with their premier console, the PlayStation 4 Pro and the skyrocketing pricing of PC gaming components, the Xbox One X might be a much more palatable purchase for multi-platform gaming.
