The Develop 100 is a list put together ever year by Develop magazine that ranks the world’s top game development studios based on Metacritic scores and sales of console, PC and smartphone games released throughout the world. In this year’s list, the first spot goes to Nintendo, with World of Goo developers 2D Boy in second place.
What caught our eye, however, was Indiagames, who made an entry in the 87th spot of the list, ahead of Vigil Games of Darksiders fame and Atlus (Persona, Catherine). Indiagames is one of India’s top mobile and online games company, and its products are developed and distributed through partnerships with mobile operators in over 75 countries. The company also offers a broadband games-on-demand service.
