Rockstar Games has delayed the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC from 27th January to 24th March.
The developer-publisher said it will use the extra weeks to further test and polish the game and promised that the PC version will be accompanied by the 30-player GTA Online, complete with Online Heists, which will come to consoles ahead of the PC release.
On the bright side, Rockstar has revealed the PC system requirements for the game, and it’s not nearly as demanding as you may have expected.
Minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2 (Nvidia video card recommended for Vista OS)
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz
- Memory: 4 GB
- Video Card: Nvidia 9800 GT 1 GB or AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11)
- HDD Space: 65 GB
