Grand Theft Auto V goes back to San Andreas

While November 2 was marked on many calendars as the release date for Uncharted 3, it was probably marked on many more as the day when Rockstar would reveal Grand Theft Auto V. Speculation was rife about a move back to Los Angeles, and those rumours were proven true in the stunning announcement trailer that showed off the familiar sights of sandy beaches, palm trees, and a few landmarks that GTA: San Andreas players would recognise, all presented via the updated version Rockstar’s Rage graphics engine in a refreshingly vibrant colour palate. There’s still a lot more that Rockstar is keeping under wraps, and we’re sure they’ll take their own sweet time to reveal further details.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the trailer yet, here it is.
