The compilation will include reworked versions of God of War and God of War II on one Blu-Ray disc in HD resolution (that’s 1280×720 or 720p, not Full HD). Both games have been digitally remastered to include anti-aliasing and will run at 60 frames per second. The Collection will also for the first time bring trophy support to the God of War franchise.
The God of War Collection will be priced at $39.99 in the US, which means it’s not the price of a regular PS3 retail release. That suggests that the Indian price would probably be close to the Rs 1,800 mark, similar to Siren: Blood Curse and the PAIN Blu-Ray release.
Sure, we would love for Sony to also throw a God of War III demo on there (and who knows, they just might). But for that price, we’ll surely take the first two epics recreated in HD. We’ll try and get you news of an Indian release and the price for the same as soon as we can.
