Ghost Recon Breakpoint to get PVP mode at launch

At Gamescom 2019, Ubisoft unveiled the versus mode for their tactical shooter, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and confirmed that the mode will launch alongside the game – unlike Ghost Recon: Wildlands where the PVP mode came nearly seven months after launch.

Breakpoint’s PVP mode is no afterthought; it will launch with six maps exclusive to multiplayer, four distinct classes – Assault, Sharpshooter and Panther and Medic, and shared progression between multi and singleplayer. This means all the perks and weapons you unlock in multiplayer will carry forward to your single player progress and vice-versa. Even though Breakpoint’s multiplayer will not ship with a Battle Royale mode, some of its game modes will feature shrinking playable areas making for even more intense and fast paced skirmishes.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches October 4th for the Xbox One and PS4 for Rs. 3999. The game will release on PC as well, but an Indian pricing hasn’t been announced yet. Pre-ordering the game will guarantee access to the beta that’ll kick off September 5th.
