The highly anticipated third installment in the Gears of War series was allegedly leaked recently, making its way onto the internet via torrent websites followed by several videos containing spoilers surfacing on Youtube. Following these reports, developer Epic Games has confirmed that the build floating around isn’t final and urged the fans to avoid it. “We have seen the reports of Gears of War 3 content being propped on the Web, and we’re working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation. This content is not from a final build and is not representative of what fans will enjoy when the game launches worldwide on September 20, 2011,” a statement from the developer said.
