EA’s digital distribution service, Origin is finally available to Mac users who can now enjoy the same features as their Windows counterparts such as cloud storage, cloud saves and social connectivity features. A game once bought by a user can be accessed through both Mac and Windows platforms provided the game itself supports both operating systems.
A handful of both first and third party games are already available on Origin for Mac users. These include The Sims franchise, Dragon Age, Batman: Arkham Asylum and lots more. Furthermore, EA has slashed the price of The Sims 3 to Rs. 540 on this occasion.
To successfully run Origin on your Mac, EA recommend OS X 10.6.8 or higher.
