Cyberpunk 2077’s PC requirements are surprisingly not that high

At their last Night City Wire showcase, developer CD Projekt announced the system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077, and surprise surprise, they aren’t that high.

Minimum:
– OS: Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit
– Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
– Memory: 8GB RAM
– Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
– DirectX: Version 12
– Storage: 70 GB HDD, SSD recommended

Recommended:
– OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
– Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
– Memory: 12GB RAM
– Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
– DirectX: Version 12
– Storage: 70 GB SSD

Given how gorgeous and dense the game world looks, this definitely came as a pleasant surprise to us since the last few PC versions of high profile games have been downright crappy at launch. And given CD Projekt’s track record for quality PC ports, our hype has legit doubled.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases November 19, 2020 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game will also receive a free next gen upgrade once the next gen consoles hit the market.
