Evolve, the eagerly anticipated co-op shooter from Left 4 Dead creator Turtle Rock Studios, has been delayed to February 2015.
Having been earlier set for release on 21st October, the monster-slaying FPS will now arrive on 10th February. The delay is surprising to say the least, as the game had earned a lot of praise at E3, including winning the Critics Game of Show award.
Take-Two president Karl Slatoff’s reason for the delay was predictable – “We are encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive response from press and fans, and believe by extending development by a few months, it will allow the team enough time to fully realize their creative vision for Evolve.”
Evolve is headed to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
