Blizzard has announced the Battle of Azeroth expansion for its longstanding MMO franchise, World of Warcraft at BlizzCon 2017.
The new expansion brings with it a brace of new features alongside fresh content. You can check out the announce trailer for the same, below.
This is not all though for WoW players. If you are a long-standing veteran of the franchise and sometimes yearn to go back to the classic days prior to the myriad expansions dropping for the game Blizzard has announced World of Warcraft: Classic. With Classic players will experience the game just as it was during its launch in late 2004.
The decision is also bracketed by the fact that Blizzard had initially no plans of ever implementing such a setup, citing logistical limitations as well as having to maintain two different forks of the game.
Currently, Blizzard has not announced any releases dates for either of these content drops but you can opt-in for an upcoming Beta test for the Battle of Azeroth expansion, here.
