The cat is finally out of the bag, as EA have released a 17 minute gameplay video for Battlefield 4. Unfortunately, this video is all about single player gameplay, and it looks pretty generic so far. That being said, Battlefield 4 looks really good, courtesy of the new Frostbite 3 engine, and there’s a sense of destruction that was sorely lacking in Battlefield 3.
Battlefield 4 is slated for a Fall 2013 release which means anything between September and December. Since Battlefield 3 released October 2010, odds are Battlefield 4 will ship during that month, while the beta goes live in September. Platforms have not been officially listed so far, but you can bet on the usual suspects like the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and PS4.
