Batman: Arkham Knight PC codes now working, sale suspended on Steam

PC retail codes of Batman: Arkham Knight that are sold in India are now working and can be activated on Steam.

As we reported yesterday, activation codes included in all retail copies of Batman: Arkham Knight for PC sold in India weren’t working due to an issue on the Steam platform.

Publisher Warner Bros and Valve have since fixed the issue and retail codes can now be activated on Steam. That, as it turns out, is now the only way you can play the game.

After a deluge of negative reviews and bad press, Steam has suspended the sale of the game.

“Sales of Batman: Arkham Knight have been temporarily suspended while Warner Brothers works to address performance issues,” reads an update on the game’s Steam store page.

The store also mentions that the game will now re-launch in fall 2015, even though you can still pick up the game at a retail store and activate it on Steam.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Batman: Arkham Knight remain unaffected.
