Zod
Developer - EuroCom Publisher - Activision Platforms - HD Consoles Release Date - November 1 - 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNHY0Kadd1o At the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, Activision unveiled GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, a remastering of the Wii game for the HD consoles. The game is to feature high-definition graphics due to running on a new game engine, an achievement system, new "Mi6 Ops Missions", and PlayStation Move compatibility for the PS3 version. Game includes a revamped AI and better graphics. It runs at a sparkling 60 frames per second, too. Standalone challenge missions, collectively called M16 Ops, have been added. This online leaderboard-fuelled extra adds over ten hours of gameplay, Activision said. Elimination is a timed-based mission. Assault sees you attack a base. Stealth is for fans of quiet killing. And Wave Defense, which does exactly what it says on the tin. Online has room for 16 players across 10 maps. Split-screen multiplayer is also included. Multiplayer modes are under wraps, although Activision is leaning towards James Bond being a spy in this area.

Big Boss
.Its Sub-hd runs at 640p native reso...like COD games at 60fps Stop posting from your a*s Zodak. Every game doesn't need to go sub HD to achieve 60 fps. UPDATED: Activision responds.UPDATE: Activision has contacted VideoGamer.com to clarify Steer's statements, and has confirmed the game will run in 1080 resolutions on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. ORIGINAL STORY: Recently announced GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will run at 720p on Xbox 360, but PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play the game at 1080. http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/goldeneye_007_reloaded/news/goldeneye_007_reloaded_runs_at_1080_but_only_on_ps3.html
Zod
1080p and 60fps...wtf.... then why can't they run COD at 720p ?..they are using the same COD engine
Big Boss
then why can't they run COD at 720p ?..they are using the same COD engine Because they know there are enough idiots out there to buy COD who dont even know what sub HD is. Instead of optimizing the engine, they just churn out a sequel per year.
Aftrunner
Yeah its either that or its because this doesnt look 1/10th as good as CoD and is missing most of the effects so its not really resource hungry.
Big Boss
^Read this. “GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is being developed by Eurocom, and is an HD update of 2010′s GoldenEye 007 on the Wii. Eurocom has developed a new engine “from the ground up” for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game – but is it more than a simple port? “Undoubtedly,” says Steer. “From a single-player point of view it’s the same story and the same locations, but there isn’t an area that we haven’t gone and upgraded or reloaded in some way.” But what’s been changed, exactly? “From a geometry point of view there’s higher detail in the environments, more props, from a technology point there’s much higher detailed textures, animations, effects, sound effect, completely new AI built within this engine.” Steer added that Activision was “very happy with the review scores” for GoldenEye 007 on Wii and defended the decision to launch first on Nintendo’s console. “I think the Wii was the right place for the GoldenEye game because of the N64 heritage,” said Steer. “We also needed to take some time to make sure that that new engine could deliver 60fps, 16 player multiplayer, photo-realistic environments. It takes time to develop technology like that. “They’ve worked on this engine through 2010. Not the whole of 2010 – but as it became clear that people want to see GoldenEye on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 we needed to develop a new engine. That can’t be done in a few months. But the game team was very focused on making sure GoldenEye Wii was the best game that we could make for that platform, while an engine team was working in the background on the technology.” Its an entirely new engine. Zodka made up sh*t that this is based on MW engine. From his post: At the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, Activision unveiled GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, a remastering of the Wii game for the HD consoles. The game is to feature high-definition graphics due to running on a new game engine, Then, right out he takes his head right up his a*s and starts posting: Game uses COD engine .Its Sub-hd runs at 640p native reso...like COD games at 60fps What a retard

praveer
That is damn good for a 1080p game. I don't think there's a shooter out there on consoles that runs at 1080p.
Aftrunner
I dont know what this new engine nonsense is about. I played the Wii version. And this looks pretty much like the Wii version upscaled with some added effects and slightly better textures here and there. So I guess they are just passing upgrades to the Wii version engine as a "new Engine". More bullshit Acti Marketing. Edit Oooh Screenshots. This is my favorite. Found it on GAF. First the "New engine" and then the Wii game running upscaled via Dolphin. New engine.
Big Boss
LOL new engine..my a*s it looks sh*t....graphics are worse than COD They are saying its a new engine, then its a new engine. No matter how crap it looks. And for 1080p, that poops all over COD. And no matter how many screenshots you post, you cannot excuse your retardness which you displayed so awesomely by posting "A new engine" in the OP and then saying its a COD engine in subsequent posts.
