Right
I think Pc version will still take the cake... Its only on Playstation, they are releasing the trilogy on PC also? Or you were referring to old PC versions? And I just realized that Anniversary and Legends never released on PS3, makes the trilogy totally worthwhile for PS3 owners. Joy
Hasn't Underworld released on the PS3? Yes it has , but w/o Underworld it won't be a trilogy by Crystal Dynamics would it BTW with all these HD remakes by Non Sony IP's , they lose that finesse , illusion , that lighting , mist , in favor of better textures. Same thing happened with POP Trilogy , the complete sands feel was totally missing from the HD remake. From the pics posted above , in many of them PS2 looks better to me than HD remake , just cause how natural it looks even with blurry textures. playstation
GamePro Review 4.5/5 PROS: Noticeable HD makeover; gameplay still holds up; three solid games for less than the price of one. CONS: Up-scaling can't completely hide the ugliest stuff; camera and controls feel a bit dated. source
playstation
Five things you didn't know about 'Tomb Raider' Now available for PlayStation 3, Square Enix's Tomb Raider Trilogy is a high-definition remix of three previously released Tomb Raider games: Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld. To help commemorate the collection, and the upcoming reboot of the franchise, we thought it would be fun to look back at the beloved series and reveal five little-known facts about it -- with the help of Karl Stewart, global brand director for Tomb Raider at Crystal Dynamics. Tune in. Did you know there was a Tomb Raider album called Come Alive? The music was written by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and sung by Rhona Mitra while she was Lara Croft for a year. Bigger than Jesus (er, or the Pope)? Believe it or not, but in a 90's Time magazine online survey of the most recognized people in the world, Lara Croft scored higher than the Pope. Game over. English soccer goalkeeper David James during his time as Liverpool and England goalkeeper let in four bad goals. He said in a newspaper interview that it was because he'd been up all the previous night playing Tomb Raider. Team player. The core team that worked on the first Tomb Raider game for the Sega Saturn consisted of only six people: three programmers and three artists. As the game began being ported to other platforms, the team grew in size. Lara comes to life. Did you know Katie Price (a.k.a. Jordan) was actually the first live Lara Croft model? The U.K. television personality, model and singer helped promote the game at various trade shows. source
