Aftrunner
Good news. I no longer need the Mafia 2 thread. Bad news. I now will lurk here. So you liked the solitary, lonesome and atmospheric nature of the first Bioshock? Thats for pussies and nerds. Test subjects between the age of 15-25 have shown that they really relate to a character if a hot chick is tagging along (See RE5 and Prince of Persia 2008) and showing ample cleavage. Therefore - Things get even more dramatic when we're joined by Elizabeth, big-eyed, dark-haired and buxom in her Edwardian frock..........the pair must combine their powers and form a partnership to escape the city as it crumbles away beneath their feet. (Elizabeth is strictly an AI companion: you won't be controlling her in a co-op mode.) Source.
sup bro?
I wonder if a 12 year old Ayn Rand would make a guest appearance.

Aftrunner
^^ I suspect you will like this one too - A condensed barrage of spectacle and set-piece rattles past us, picking out elements of the gameplay just long enough to register but not so long that we can dwell on them. It's a slice of tightly-scripted performance gaming that stretches credibility in places - without ever quite breaking it, to be fair - and raises questions about just how linear and contained the final game is going to be. Solitaire
Bah. not another Bioshock, I still have to finish the 2nd one. Setting looks nice though, atleast it won't be as dreary as the original city. And waiting to see how Big Daddies look in their airborne iteration too. strategy
^^ i dont suppose they will have big daddys roaming around ..... some thing as terifying as them . but if they do... shame on them.......(well i they made such great innovative games and could not come up with a new name and new horrifying enimy .....after saying soo much i can say there wont be biggdaddys in it)

TAG
This looks interesting.... Let's see how it ties to the Bioshock universe (if it does at all) and specifically Rapture And to all the "do-not-wanters", it's too early to tell what's going on here. Lots of people kept bitching about Bioshock 2, but it turned out to be a good game. In some ways, even better than the first one.

Nemo
^^ agreed with the TAG. i presently am in love with bioshock universe and would like to know more and everything about it. military shooters dont really do it for me (feel myself less and less interested in mp- its pointless really) this (or half life when so ever they will the pull out the next) is the only good atmospheric first person shooter/s around. Cant wait to get Bio 2 as soon as i get my backlog done. I can see potential in it (irrespective of attention wh0ring trolls telling me otherwise ). of course for that there should be more than just superficial changes and a good story. Maybe i am all cheery about it cause i finished the original merely weeks ago but still lets wait before taking out the pitchforks and tar ^^ +1 were not you all f**k this sh*t i am going home at bioshock 2 too before the reversal ? they have initiated a change of scenery as well, as great as rapture is going at the same locations 3 times would be a bit too much
