As long as great games are being made so that we third worldly creatures can enjoy it years down the line on Subscription or Cheap deal. I’m ok with it. Better than shutting shop or selling business to a megacorp that ruins it into the ground. I also think it’s about time Nintendo starts a Subscription service which is offering a bunch of great games for nominal monthly fee. Obviously no honeymoon day1 games that drags down their quality business. -

Nintendo prices dont come down actually ,they know they have a monoply in the kind of games they have . At most 90$ game will come down to 70$ after 3-4 years 😂. Also dont think the prices are due to tariffs but pure greed instead. Otherwise they could have easily kept the digital prices same and increased the physical prices only and put the reasoning on the tariffs which everyone would have understood . You dont increase worldwide prices due to the USA. Imagine paying 9k for day 1 games going forward ,no hardware manufacturer is in favour of physical games as it is so buying and selling will continue to shrink. f**k man GP sub prices will also increase once everyone raises their prices which is inevitable. In short our hobby is f**ked -

Also, there’s no real incentive to buy Switch 2 right away. Wait 2-3 years until the price comes down. New animal crossing, splatoon and the next Zelda game will be the real must-play games on the upgraded hardware. Until then, it’s just an expensive console to play old games with HD texture packs. -

Yeah I agree, cutting edge handhelds aren’t really novelty anymore like they were at the time of PSP & then Nintendo Switch launches. Every other hardware manufacturer along with Steam & now M$ are gunning for it. All can be connected to big screens aswell. at $440-500 price point much better devices are available & offer all the catalog including PS Studio games & GamePass. I’d be surprised if it’s a runaway success like it’s predecessor with this kind of arrogance. Their games aren’t even as massive on production value that they start charging more than PS5 games. Anyone would rather play a GoW on Asus & then subscribe to Gamepass aswell.
