That’s the case with the entire entertainment industry….let alone specific genre in Gaming….. So should we stop producing any & all forms of entertainment!!!?

Why should that be a good indicator but not the base console? What makes you think next gen base will be as expensive as a pro model? Why do you ignore the fact that 5 Pro sales are on par with 4 Pro in same time length? 4 Pro sold about 14Mil I think, in entire gen. Nobody expects it to outsell base version. If 5 Pro sells as much as 4 Pro it's already a success, and by the sales so far it looks like it's on its way there.

Pro is a mid gen upgrade, it's sales are already on par or above PS4 Pro on the same time line. What does that have to do with anything we just said, consoles are not dying just because you said so.

No i meant in future market will shrink in Asia particularly. Iam curious to see how PS5 Pro will sell Asia. That should be good indicator. Console will not die completely. NA, Europe, Australia and all will keep it alive.
