No it's not even close. This is bloaty and just cumbersome. Stealth is superb and fun though. But samurai combat is not as good as Ghost. Maybe after playing for 40 hours and unlocking specific weapons and skills it might be good, but most will give up on the game before that. Yasuke himself took me over 10 hours to unlock.

I haven't played either game yet so feel free to discount my opinion, but just from looking at the gameplay i got the exact opposite impression 😅

Stealth combat in Shadows i find better than Ghost, but meele 1v1 Samurai action is far superior in Ghost ooverall. Yasuke is not as good as Jin Sakai as Samurai. Shadows Combat gets good once you invest in certain weapon specific skills and builds. Ghost combat is engaging from start and keeps you hooked throughout. I was bored playing as Yasuke after few hours, so i fully invested in Stealth focused builds for naoe now and its way more fun and satisfying, but if you not into Stealth gameplay and want Ghost style non stop Samurai action then you will gey bored playing as Yasuke after few hours. He just a boring tank. Also its really important to play on Expert difficulty. Anything below expert equals to god mode. It's really boring if you play on below Normal as yasuke cant die below normal and some builds give him hp back on hits lol. If you not sure whether game is for you or not then try it for a month with Ubisoft premium on PC or Xbox but if you on PS5 then wait for sale. Game is good and its by far best and most fun AC game and best Ubisoft game after almost a decade imo lol

objectively - is the combat able to scratch the ghost of Tsushima itch? That one kept me hooked and this one looks floaty and bloaty @Big Boss
