The lead does affect the end product. Take away the Naughty Dog logo from the trailer and hardly anyone will remember or discuss the game. It most likely make poor sales, if made by an unknown developer. For Stellar Blade, nobody knows the developer so the lead helped the game. (and partly due to Sony's help and marketing)
