You'd end up skipping a lot of the film, especially a big chunk of the third act. Rest of the film also full nudity and long needles going places Imo, don't think it would be a good watch if scenes are skipped. Not that it's its main USP, but the gore/grotesque disfiguration adds to the underlying insecurity and bruised ego of the main character and the lengths one in such a position would go to fix it.
