Too much trouble just for a little better experience. Just wait for the official release. I usually dont buy expensive stuff especially tech on launch day due to these issues. Also there are no new games.

As far as I know, with Grey market it's no warranty! If the seller is good and legit, he might find a way to ship the console abroad to get it repaired- but most won't bother! It's an imported unit where you don't know the source store so risk is on you! At least if you're traveling abroad and importing/having relatives bring from abroad you can ship console to seller/Sony Center abroad on your own and ask him to repair - here you're on your own! You can try your luck with 3rd party repairs and get it repaired though! Assume that there's no warranty in 1st place and you might/might not get official parts
