Initial investment can be expensive on PC if you going for high end rig but it will last quite long and will be cheaper to upgrade too if built smartly. Its not cheaper in the long run. Even digital games are more expensive than console unless you wait 1 year for price drop. The hardware itself costs 4x a console. You're paying for a premium experience thats it. No cost benefit at all
