Yes, Pedro was good. I wish acacius was the main character. First half i thought they are heading somewhere at least. The sudden change in personality of hano was too much. I didn't feel him one bit. The ending was so sh*t and forced, both the main villain and hero running away to meet in between the armies to fight each other And he almost lost that too. Such a filmy bollywood masala ending. They don't make classics like they used to.

Watched it today. IMO Gladiator 2 should never be made. Feels like a cash grab. The first half was great but went downhill in the second half. The twin Emperors and the Senate are incompetent as hell. Commodus was way better in 1. A good movie is always determined by the quality of the villain. I wont spoil too much. Macrinus's action at the end of the movie is the dumbest decision I have even seen. The colosseum fights are entertaining. Solid performances by Pedro Pascal and Connie Nielsen.
