This one was a no-brainer, really. It may not have flown off shelves or sold too many PS3s, but Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet was arguably one of the best games of 2008. It was refreshing and basic, creative and challenging all at the same time, and we at IVG loved every bit of it. It also introduced to us one of the most lovable new video game characters in a long, long time. We look forward to many more of Sackboy’s adventures in the future as LittleBigPlanet bitch slaps all other nominees LBP style on its way to IndianVideoGamer’ Best New IP of 2008.
