Destiny 2’s upcoming expansion – New Light has been delayed to November 2019 because of the ongoing pandemic.
The expansion was initially supposed to release September 22, but has now been pushed back to November 10. Beyond Light is the first of three major expansions that would make up Year 4 of Destiny 2. It will include a host of new content including new exotics, a brand new destination to explore as well as a new elemental damage type. Sadly, this expansion would also retire many of the older explorable planets like Mars, Mercury, Titan, and Io.
While Destiny 2 does offer new players a chance to experience its world for free in the form of Destiny 2 New Light, Beyond Light will be a paid expansion for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
