Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28, 2025, Konami has announced.
The release date was confirmed during Sony’s State of Play, following a recent leak. A new trailer showcased the game, including the return of the “Snake vs Monkey” minigame, which will be available on PS5 and Steam, but not on Xbox.
Konami has stated that a different special game will be included for the Xbox version, with details to be announced later.
Series producer Noriaki Okamura previously stated that the remake aims to keep the franchise alive for future generations, referencing Solid Snake’s quote: “We leave behind much more than just DNA.”
