Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 are getting the remake treatment, with a release set for July 11 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Switch, PS5 and PS 4. It will also be available on Game Pass from day one.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 follows in the footsteps of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, which released to critical and commercial success in 2021 for retaining the essence of the original games, while refreshing it for new platforms and audiences.
THPS 3+4 is a remake of the original games with updated visuals, new parks, additional skaters, an expanded soundtrack, and cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players. It retains the original Career Mode and introduces new creation tools and a New Game+ mode.
Players can choose from returning and new skaters or create their own with customisable hometowns and skating styles. The game builds on the mechanics of THPS 1+2, with an optional tutorial from Tony Hawk for new players.
A new level, Waterpark, has been added as part of the THPS 4 Tour. Set in an abandoned water park in the Mojave Desert, it features six rides that act as trick lines. Players can skate through different sections, including the Lazy River and Marquee, with unlockable areas like the Castle Slide.
