The 34-inch curved ultra-wide Quad HD monitor – with a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 – will hit stores in India in April, with pricing expected to be within the Rs 1.2 to 1.5 lakhs range.

The monitor features a 21:9 wide aspect ratio and IPS panel, with Nvidia’s G-Sync technology built-in. It supports 100 Hz refresh rate, with users able to switch between 60 Hz and 100 Hz as needed.

The ROG Swift PG348Q also includes built-in stereo speakers.

Asus claims that it accounted for 40 per cent of the 800,000 gaming monitors shipped in 2015, and says 10-15 per cent of the monitors it ships in 2016 will be tailored for gaming.

Asus offers gaming-specific laptops, monitors, and PC gaming components and peripherals through its ROG (Republic of Gamers) and Strix brands.
