Nvidia officially announces Geforce GTX Titan, will be available in India this March

NVIDIA today officially announced the GeForce GTX Titan, “the fastest GPU on the planet” that’s built with NVIDIA’s Kepler architecture, and is designed to annihilate even the most demanding PC games out there (Hello, Crysis 3).

The GTX Titan will be available in India, starting the first week of March through NVIDIA’s partners, ASUS and ZOTAC. Prices for this high end card will begin from Rs. 68,499, roughly ten thousand rupees more than it’s American price ($1,000).

And for all the tech heads out there, here’s a quick glimpse at the technology fueling this amped up card:

  • Contains 7 billion transistors
  • Has 2,668 GPU cores—75%  more than the Company’s NVIDIA GeForceGTX 680 GPU
  • Delivers 4.5 Terraflops of single precision and 1.3 Terraflops of double precision processing power
  • Supports new GPU Boost 2.0technology which automatically boosts graphics performance and supports unlocked voltage and advanced controls for even more gaming control and overclocking customization
